In order to book onto a Core (Level 1) Child & Adolescent Training, you will need to have completed PART 1 of a Generic (Standard) EMDR Training with a Europe Accredited EMDR Trainer. You [fusion_highlight color=”” text_color=”#000000″ rounded=”no” class=”” id=””]do not [/fusion_highlight]need to have completed all parts of the Generic EMDR Training prior to attending a Core (Level 1) Child & Adolescent Training.
You also need to attest that
- You have an eligible mental health qualification (which would have been required in order to attend a Europe Accredited Generic EMDR Training)
- You have completed part 1 of an EMDR Generic (Standard) training (as minimum)
- You have worked with children / young people (under the age of 18) for at least 1 year in a therapeutic capacity (this can be delivery of any therapeutic modality or any support work with young people)
- You have an active caseload which includes access to children & young people under the age of 18
- You have delivered EMDR with a minimum of 2 adults or young people prior to attending this training
- You will not record any part of the training (due to clinically sensitive material being shown)
- You will attend the entirety of the training
