The Sunday Club

‘building bridges across ponds’

We have been busy donating our time to other organisations in need (such as TRN UK, who have a series of masterclasses available free to TRN therapists and at low cost to EMDR trained therapists.

The Sunday Club was established to provide on-going CPD / CE for people around the world, at an affordable cost, whilst ensuring that we could create useful masterclasses and workshops, in time zones that enabled people from around the world to network and learn from one another.

Why is the Sunday Club on a Sunday? This is because it is challenging to find a day that suits everyone. Many people cannot get time off work during the week and we needed a weekend to ensure that daytimes for those in the USA would be accessible to them. For our colleagues who have a religious requirement for non-computer activities on Fridays and Saturdays, upon canvasing therapists on both sides of the pond, it was felt that Sunday was the most accessible day for the majority of therapists.

Cost, Dates, Times, and Locations

Each Sunday event runs for 5 hours (inclusive of breaks) and offers 4.5 CPD / CE’s. The events are donation ONLY – with a suggested amount of £50 / $60 per training event. The monies go to which ever charity the speaker designates or can go to our CIC (community interest company, our non-profit that supports charity initiatives around the world). The costs of applying for CPD / CE’s is covered by the Child Trauma Therapy Centre. EMDR Narratives Workshop :

Presented by : Susan Darker-Smith

This workshop is a practical workshop looking at the different forms of narratives, with use of practise vignettes and the opportunity to write a narrative (with support) for a client you are currently working with.
