About The Child Trauma Therapy Centre

The Child Trauma Therapy Centre (CTTC) was set up in 2018, initially in the small village of Ellesmere, Shropshire where the founder of Save the Children was born.  Later, in 2023 we moved to larger premises as we had outgrown our original building.

The Child Trauma Therapy Centre (CTTC) was set up with three over-arching goals in mind:

  1. To help children, adolescents and adults recover from painful and difficult life experiences

  2. To provide expert accredited EMDR Child and Adolescent Trainings and Psychotherapy Masterclasses for therapists and professionals to help them understand how children and adults traumatised in childhood process trauma differently

  3. To provide expert clinical consultation and supervision to help therapists develop in confidence towards becoming the best clinicians they possibly can be

  4. A forth branch later emerged, which is tasked with finding charitable means for everyone to access the support they need – this may sometimes be through our links with other charities rather than directly with us.

If you have any questions or wish to partake in our training please contact us via info@childtraumatherapycentre.com, we welcome all queries and enquiries!
