BOOK EMPLOYER-FUNDED Individual CLINICAL SUPERVISION
Susan Darker-Smith provides clinical supervision / consultation for individuals, pairs and groups in
- Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBT)
She is a Europe Accredited Child & Adolescent EMDR Consultant / Trainer and a BABCP Accredited Supervisor (CBT). She is able to support those wishing to accredit in either therapy model.
She supervises child & adolescent cases, adult cases, complex cases, eating disorder cases.
Supervision / Consultation takes place online using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Whatsapp, telephone or (in discussion) face to face supervision is available by separate agreement at either Baschurch, Shropshire or Ellesmere, Shropshire. (please email susan directly, if you are seeking face to face supervision)
Important Note About Client Recordings:
In the course of consultation, it may be necessary for Susan to watch video recordings of therapy with a client. Recordings of therapy should stay in the possession of the consultee at all times, due to GDPR compliance and should not be uploaded to dropbox or sent via USB drive through the mail. Client recordings are viewed with supervisees, during supervision / consultation sessions, using screen share for online sessions. This enables a shared understanding of the clinical case.
Supervision / Consultation Rules:
No one is ever shamed in any supervision / consultation session with Susan.
Susan takes the stance that we are all in the learning process and it is only through learning opportunities that we grow and develop.
Cost of Clinical Supervision / Consultation
The rate for employer-funded, individual Supervision, pairs or group Clinical Supervision / Consultation from the 1st September 2022 is:
- £130 /hour (+VAT)
- £65 / half hour (+ VAT) per person (for up to 6 people) – please allow at least half an hour of supervision per person
If the employer is a registered charity, community interest cooperative (CIC) or a small business in receipt of small business relief tax – there are reductions available and these can be set up as a coupon, reducing the overall cost.
