SOS Supervision / Consultation (Emergency 1/2 Hour Sessions)

When I was a supervisee, learning EMDR and CBT, I would have supervision (and it was always helpful)… but often the week after supervision, my client would experience a crisis. This left me with nowhere to turn for advice, as my supervision had often been the week before!
When I became an EMDR and BABCP Supervisor, I asked myself :
‘What would I have wanted most, as a Supervisee…’
And the answer was simple. The support of emergency supervision (SOS) in addition to regular supervision, for those moments when I was unsure what to do.
An SOS Supervision is for situations where you are already accessing regular supervision and
- your usual consultation / supervision is a few weeks away and you need extra support for a client,
- your client is in (unexpected) crisis,
- you are (unexpectedly) unsure how to proceed with your chosen intervention and need support with this.
To book an SOS Supervision with Susan – please follow the procedure below:
- Text, Whatsapp or email Susan directly, explaining the need for an urgent SOS Supervision Session.
- SOS Sessions are for half an hour – if you require an hour due to a very complex presentation, please increase the quantity to 2 at checkout.
- Susan will aim to respond within 24 – 48 hours – offering possible dates and will work with you to find the best time and date as quickly as possible.
- Once you have confirmed a date, return to this page (be sure you are logged in), and click on the “Pay for SOS Session” button below. Proceed with the checkout process. Note: This will not show as a scheduled supervision appointment on your booking – as your SOS Emergency Supervision with Susan will be outside usual diary spaces.
- Attend the session with Susan.
By booking this SOS Supervision, you agree that:
- SOS Supervision does not (nor is intended to) replace regular supervision.
- Is for self-funding therapists only (who may not have peers or other team members to seek advice from.)
- Is only for therapists already in regular supervision with Susan.
- Child Trauma Therapy Centre’s usual cancellation policy applies.
